Mohamed Abouhawwash received the B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in statistics and computer science from Mansoura University, Mansoura, Egypt, in 2005 and 2011, respectively, and the joint Ph.D. degree in statistics and computer science from Michigan State University, East Lansing, MI, USA, and Mansoura University, Egypt, in 2015. Currently, he holds significant academic positions at Distinguished Institutions, at Michigan State University, East Lansing, MI, USA. Additionally, he serves as an Associate Professor at the Department of Mathematics, Faculty of Science, Mansoura University, Egypt. He is dedicated to advancing knowledge that transcends geographical boundaries, as evidenced by his role as a Visiting Scholar at the Department of Mathematics and Statistics, Faculty of Science, Thompson Rivers University, Kamloops, BC, Canada, during 2018. He is a Distinguished Researcher and Academician, widely recognized for his outstanding contributions to the fields of computational intelligence, machine learning, and image reconstruction.
