In his poems it is impossible not to notice stubbornly repeating from the collection to the collection, from year to year the motive is the image of a path, a traveler, off-road wanderings or tireless advance, a difficult ascent. The opposite beginnings are visible in Bryusov's poetry: life-affirming - love, calls for "conquest" of life by work, for struggle for existence, for creation - and pessimistic ones. The mood of the author is often contradictory. As for the form, the poet then strives for innovation, then again goes to the time-tested forms of the classics. Peru Bryusov also owns such works: "Chefs d`oeuvre", "Juvenilia", "Me eum esse", "Stephanos", "Tertia Vigilia".
