This book was inspired by my six-year-old son Alexander. He likes the stories very much and thinks that other children will too. As a result, I decided to write this book so that it could be enjoyed by children around the world. Information about the wildlife is factual, and the stories are based on the Author's experiences growing up as a boy in Guyana in the nineteen fifties.
