But a new problem emerges when ARES, the homicidal prototype gun created for military use, is stolen from a warehouse and upon reactivation, recruits a psychotic street thug as accomplice. Hallahan and McCord must hunt for the renegade technology and survive a gang war erupting due to the calculated schemes of the thinking weapon.
