The plan might have worked but for the arrival of Aunt Millicent's nephew, Lord Rathbone, who has come to England to claim his bride, Miss Marchmont, sight unseen. Rathbone is not disappointed with his "fiancée." Against her will, Chelsea realizes she is falling in love with the handsome, albeit misled, nobleman. This affair of the heart could lead to disaster, unless she can find a way to stop the foolish masquerade without losing a handsome lord's love.
