The writer is a student of esotericism, or what might be referred to as the ancient wisdom of the Earth. In recent times, this wisdom has re-surfaced in our contemporary culture, in the form of the teachings of G.I. Gurdjieff and Peter D. Ouspensky. Gurdjieff explains to us in his magnum opus, that, this wisdom was the mainspring of several very ancient and advanced lost civilizations on our world - civilizations which have disappeared in the mists of time.
