Hitchhiking is part of the fun and their primary mode of transportation. Their quest to relieve an advanced state of boredom has taken them north, around the San Francisco Bay and up along the scenic California coast highway, known by locals as the 'One.' They stand side-by-side, hitchhiking, and are roughly forty miles above Eureka, with only a pipe dream of making it to Seattle.
