In these books I am trying to portray the links between history and pop culture (and the history of pop culture) around the world. It is more in the nature of a survey (in which there is a large amount of reviewer bias in the selection). I hope, at best, to peg out the general territory, and allow you to note some themes within a year through multiple countries.
