Meat cattle breeding is generally presented by Kazakh white-headed breed which is capable to acclimatize in many climatic zones having high adaptation flexibility. Kazakh white-headed breed was of great importance in the development of specialized meat cattle breeding of the former Union and now remains one of the popular meat cattle breeds in the CIS countries. This breed is widespread in farms of the Russian Federation from Volga to the Pacific Ocean, Kazakhstan and Central Asia. Being the homeland of Kazakh white-headed breed, West Kazakhstan region has the most numerous livestock with high genetic potential. The improvement of breed in West region is carried out first in farms where the best livestock of the breed is concentrated, more profound work is carried out, new factory lines and types are created.
