As the governor's office wants answers, the Cold Case Unit has become part of Principal Investigator Tina Justlin's investigation. The investigation takes a twist when the corruption involves murder and heightened allegations of other crimes. A lawyer's cases begin to point fingers at the guilty parties, those who have secured positions in the political arena. After uncovering the injustice, state and community leaders have become involved. Not everyone is pleased with this collaborative effort and the attention it has stirred. Especially those connected to the files they closed to gain personal rewards. Detective Tyson's problems mount as his obligation to the department once again affects his personal life.
