Katie Rader was born and raised in the Winter Strawberry Capital of the World, where she has worked as a cosmetologist and salon owner for the last twenty-five years. Katie married her "crush" twenty years ago, and they have two beautiful girls together. She describes herself as a shopaholic; she enjoys thrifting, crafting, and spending time with her family on Florida's sunny beaches. Katie has also successfully battled breast cancer and painstakingly journaled her year-long experience, which has evolved into her first book, You Don't Need Headlights to Shine.
