It means that just because I would like to get to know you does not mean that you need to feel the same. It is ok to walk away when you know it is not working out. It has nothing to do with the other person but with me and my wants and this is fine. Life will still go the way it always will. If my expectations are unrealistic life will make it crystal clear. If I am on point, then I will reap the benefits. In either case, it is about taking accountability and responsibility for my own actions and thoughts. I have the power to make myself happy or sad. I have the power to become successful or fail. I have chosen to believe in myself by walking not in my feelings but in the actions that have proven success. I hope that my views can help you to see that the only one out here who can make you reach your goal is a realistic you and not your feelings.
