Nevertheless, the seemingly playful nature of its implementation, the simplicity of its application and the trust in the client's ability to find solutions are met with skepticism by many consultants: some still believe that solutions have to be worked out "hard". Even in social work, the system board is only very hesitantly gaining a foothold. This book aims to give social work professionals an insight into the history and practical application of the system board. This means of communication is not so much a new method (again!), but rather a certain way of looking at the world. The aim is to encourage counselors in social work to try out this new way of looking at the world - and thereby increase not only their own scope for action, but also that of their clients.
