The first highlight was set by Peter Duncan, CEO of Shell Germany, who addressed the conference theme with the background of Shell's dramatic experiences in the Brent Spar and Nigeria affairs. Second, renowned experts discussed the problem of international corruption, which was significantly introduced with a keynote address by Hon. Frene Ginwala, Speaker of the South African Republic's Parliament. Third, the role of values in corporate transformation was debated from the perspective of leading European firms.
