Autor

Aki Salmela (born 1976), published his first collection of poetry, Sanomattomia lehtiä, in 2004. Since then, he has published five other books of poetry, most recently Vanitas (Tammi 2012). His poetry translations include Valveillaoloa, a selection of poems by John Ashbery, WSOY 2004), and Auringonlaskun roinaa by Ron Sillimen (ntamo 2014). Salmela is the winner of the prestigious Kalevi Jäntti Award, 2004, and the Finnish Broadcasting Company's Tanssiva Karhu prize, 2008.
