Winning Life Back is an exploration of recovery and the time spent before, during, and after periods of divine madness, isolation, and treatment. This work disseminates the wisdom that can be garnered from extreme experiences of mental states with the hope to educate others about narratives of mental health and recovery. Chance Love explores experiences and touches on lessons learned that are relevant to the world at large. By sharing and examining visions, voices, and unconscious bleed through it is possible to see that there is more going on during madness than meets the eye. Chance Love relates the underlying misconceptions about the schizophrenia and mental illness through his lived experiences. This is a story that explores the effects of stigma, the reality of medical intervention, the appearance of wellbeing vs the true state of inner realties and is another anecdotal example of why we need to broaden the scope of education about extreme states of consciousness.
