In their searches for relief, both Sean Garmen and Henry Winslow were victimized by the for-profit health care system that Henry helped to create. Each of them suffered from misdiagnoses, drug regulations, the promotion of certain procedural and pharmacologic interventions, insurance restrictions, and bad care by a predatory surgeon. Ultimately, Sean and Henry each arrived at unthinkable solutions for their pain.
