This research sought to revisit the concept of collective representations by relating it to contemporary scenarios in order to understand the influence of online organizations on the construction of collective perceptions. The study was carried out by comparing online comments from users of the Airbnb app in the cities of Porto Alegre (Brazil) and Coimbra (Portugal).
