Diane Namm is the author of more than 65 books for children and young adults. Her writing includes numerous adaptations of classics for Union Square & Co (formerly Sterling Publishing): Five Little Peppers and How they Grew, Greek Myths, Roman Myths, and The Phantom of the Opera in the Classic Starts® series; Dr. Doolittle and Rudyard Kipling tales in the Easy Reader Classics series; a collection of retold fairy tales in the Silver Penny Stories series; early-reader joke books for the Laugh-A-Long series, and many more. Namm is also an accomplished playwright, screenwriter, director, producer, and filmmaker. She's the founder of West of Broadway(TM), a theater company dedicated to promoting literacy and adapting classics for an interactive theater experience, e.g., Mrs. Scrooge the Musical, Bunny Tales Episode IV: the Bunny Wars, and Huck, as well as founder of Lady of the Canyon LLC, a production company known for award-winning films and TV projects like "Finding Hope," "The Sacrifice," "Telemafia," and "Sasa."
