There are various methods for wedge size calculation like 1mm wedge 1 degree of correction, paper tracing method, computer software , and trigonometric method. The recent use of trigonometry for calculation of size of wedge has been shown to be an accurate , fast, replicable ,and simple method without requiring of use of complex software. Therefore we have embarked in this study to assess the accuracy of intra operative wedge size calculation by trigonometric method in medial closing wedge osteotomy,in patients of genu valgum.
