Robert Winton's love for photography began in middle school when he used his father's vintage Canon rangefinder camera and developed the film in a do-it-yourself darkroom. The marvel of watching images appear in the film's silver coating, from an ephemeral glimpse of light, ultimately shaped his art of faithfully capturing the light that touches priceless wedding moments.His exposure to wedding photography began during college while assisting a wedding photographer. During his career in chemistry, he almost always carried a camera as a hobby and occasionally photographed a wedding for family and friends.In 2005, more than 30 years after first picking up a camera, Robert founded the Because You Love photography studio, specializing in love-inspired photojournalistic wedding photography. His photography received awards at professionally accredited competitions.During thirteen years and hundreds of weddings, Robert witnessed both the profound love and the sometimes heartbreaking challenges of weddings. He looks back on those years with deep fondness and the honor of having been part of so many beautiful weddings.Retired from wedding photography, Robert enjoys hiking in the Pocono Mountains and shares his love of photography at BecauseYouLove.com.
