After graduating from college, Claire is hired by SETI to study the sounds collected from space over the past several decades. In an unexpected turn of events, Claire realizes she can see and read messages on the pages of data. They are words of hope and love. Unfortunately, someone leaks her findings to the press, and Claire and her colleagues have to go into hiding. The government steps in, but its agenda is unclear.
