Autor

Alexandra Jarrett is a Treaty 10 Cree-Métis writer, photographer, and spoken word poet from Eagles Lake CreeFirst Nation, Saskatchewan. A graduate of the Edwards School of Business with a degree in marketing, she is also the founder of Axis Imagery Ltd., where she works at the intersection of visual storytelling, Indigenous tourism, and community-based projects. Jarrett's creative practice spans poetry, photography, and digital media, with a deep focus on land, matriarchal strength, and Indigenous futurisms. Her writing has been supported through the SK Arts: Indigenous Peoples Art and Artists Grant. She is a member of the League of Canadian Poets, the Saskatchewan Writers' Guild, and the Saskatchewan Ânskohk Writers' Circle Inc. She currently resides in Mistawasis First Nation, where she continues to write, create, and build community through storytelling.
