Then it begins to crawl around like a caterpillar and afterward begins to hang out as a chrysalis in preparation for flight. The final stage is a beautiful four-winged creature that will rise from the leaves and begin to soar above its' immediate environment. We don't see butterflies crawling around after they've reached maturity. They do what they were created to do - fly! We too should strive to get a greater hunger and be transformed to reach the destiny God created for us at conception. Dr. Roger C. Bethel, served as a professional broadcaster of radio, television, and the recorded music industry for more than a half-century, working in Savannah, GA; Detroit, MI; Washington, D.C.; New York, NY; Los Angeles, CA; and Memphis, TN, before becoming a fulltime broadcasting teacher in Memphis, TN. After retiring he attended Jacksonville Theological Seminary where he received his Doctoral Degree in Christian Counseling in 2012.
