Deeper in the box, she finds photos of Julia with her little girls, helping Irene and family adjust to small town Wisconsin in the 1950's. Their children play together, while the two women share their deepest thoughts. As Irene relives her past, we learn about a life her children never dreamed she lived... and the tragedies that tore apart both friendships.
