The study used primary and secondary data with the hypothesis of cultural, religious and traditional factors contributing to violence against reproductive rights of women. The findings on right to marriage which includes choice of husband and early marriage, reproductive health - deciding when or how many children to have and the right to use contraceptives, genital mutilations are clearly showed the status of the reproductive rights of the women in the area. The study is important for policy makers and NGOsworking on reproductive rights.
