Vintil Vod is a commune in Buz u County, Romania. It is composed of nine villages: Bodine ti, Coca Antimire ti, Coca Nicule ti, Nicule ti, Petr che ti, Podu Muncii, Sârbe ti, Smee ti and Vintil Vod . In the North Side there are the mountains from the southern end of the Eastern Carpathians group - the Vrancea Mountains and the Buz u Mountains with heights over 1,700 m. The heights decrease in the South and East passing through the subcarpathian hills to the B r gan Plain at about 80 m. The area is prone to floods, the one in the summer of 2005 destroying the main road bridge at M r cineni north of Buz u.
