The present research book indicates the percentage of population incidence of the flower bud fly (Dasiops sp) in passion fruit (Passiflora ligularis; Juss., 1805) crops treated with rue, paico and higuerilla extracts. The results showed that the applications of plant extracts for the control of the flower bud fly in passion fruit have a statistically significant effect and are recommended for incorporation in Integrated Pest Management strategies in Pre Montane Tropical rainforest conditions (bp-PMT); reason for which the climate of the district is Dry Temperate (lower part) and Cold (upper part). In addition, the annual average is between 11° and 16 °C; thus there is drought in the upper part.
