This study may be the first on anise seeds and the second on fenugreek seeds to have examined thoroughly the relation between fenugreek and anise seeds on sperm quality and testosterone hormonal disturbance on male rabbits. These results support the claim that 0.6 % level of fenugreek or anise seeds intake cause testicular damage and hormonal disturbance. Due to the wide use and easy availability of herbal medicines, further research should be conducted to ensure the safety and quality of herbal medicine.
