This book reports the result of a research study to find out the problems and prospects of the University Libraries of Bangladesh in using ICT. A preliminary survey was conducted among all the Universities and the final in-depth survey is done among top ranked 22 Universities. The study covers literature review, growth and development of university libraries in global and local perspectives, development of IT and their usage in the libraries, a detailed analysis of the situation of the University Libraries of Bangladesh and finally presents a precise summary of findings, conclusion and recommendations.
