Due to the increase in human population in Brazzaville, the city is faced with a strong migratory pressure from the first metropolis of the DRC. With a population of 15 million, Kinshasa exerts strong pressure on Brazzaville.The population increase is a milestone in African cities and complicates the task of those responsible for the urban governance of cities. The city of Brazzaville which was created to house a relatively small population has experienced an overwhelmed increase in urban settlement for some time.
