Dr. Dora Washington is an author, advocate, and speaker and is an expert on Childhood Trauma and its effects on adults. She has a Doctorate of Education (Ed.D) and is an advocate to increase awareness of the long-term effects of childhood trauma. Her personal story is one of triumph over a childhood of physical, emotional, and sexual abuse, abandonment, starvation, and poverty. After discovering a path to healing, she founded Tower of Hope Ministries to help others like herself overcome trauma and live an abundant life.
