In simpler words if we define caste, so we can say that caste is an intrinsic part of our Indian society that differentiates society into four groups- Brahmin, kshatriyas, Vaishyas and shudras. The word caste was coined for the first time by Portuguese people meaning race. We will also talk about how caste system is not only harmful to Dalits but also to the Shavarna community. Because of this caste system how undivided India is divided into different castes.
