Soon after leaving the corp, he enrolled in college where he received his Bachelor’s Degree. Today, he is leading a life in New Jersey. What inspired Charles to write this book? The memories of being in Vietnam at that time and not being able to forget the people on and off the camp, living conditions of the natives, the attacks on the camp, weather conditions and those that gave their lives for the service of their country.
