However, in developed countries as well as in developing countries, there is a high unemployment rate of young people, especially young graduates. In Côte d'Ivoire, unemployment among young graduates has become a concern for at least two decades. Young people are unemployed, underemployed and are in an economic situation. Consequently, in Côte d'Ivoire, in order to take charge of their lives and provide for their needs, young graduates turn to the informal sector of employment, thus developing a form of resilience, the best known of which is the management of a cellular phone booth.
