Uneasy Castles is a collection of Myra King's poems and stories, some of which address subjects of contention, such as child incest, murder, and rape. There are also tales of unrequited love: two women, living in an era when homosexuality was not tolerated; a spurned reluctant farmer; the loneliness of a child given a boy's name because her parents yearned for a son. Many other pieces are reflective or darkly humorous, but always there is redemption, retribution, forgiveness, and hope.

Autor

Myra King lives along the coast of South Australia with her writer husband, David, and their greyhound, Sparky. Her poems and short stories, some of which have won awards, have been published in the UK, USA, Ireland and Australia in many literary magazines, books, and anthologies.
