This book primarily deals with highlighting the existence, power, and function of the subconscious mind and its relationship to the manufacture of personal reality. It emphasizes the working of the sub-conscious mind is creating all aspects of our health and personal experience. It delves into the relationship of our thoughts, beliefs, and expectations in relation to our personal accomplishments or defeats and presents suggestions for managing personal experiences and initiating self-transformation. It highlights the impact of our individual and collective thoughts, principally as it relates to our acceptance of certain established beliefs, which we hold as facts about reality. It offers an understanding of the practice of self-hypnosis as one of the alternative and effective medium for treating with a variety of personal dilemmas and for removing obstacles and impediments to success.

Autor

Several years ago I decided on changing my career path and pursued a certification as a clinical hypnotherapist. As a clinical hypnotherapist, I utilize hypnosis as a medium in assisting others in bringing about positive change and transformation to their personal lives. Prior to becoming certified I practiced hypnosis for several years before but from a totally unstructured approach and quite frankly did not realize that I was actually practicing clinical hypnotherapy. My concentration then was on improving the overall health of individuals and sports performance in athletes. At that time, I focused specifically upon boxers and track-and-field athletes, utilizing the visualization and mental enhancement/expectation process. I was impactful in this area and contributed to several boxers and athletes of other sporting disciplines attaining their sporting objectives. I began my initial training at the Las Vegas Academy of Hypnotherapy and followed through with additional training under the supervision of Dr. Gerald Kein and Bob Brenner at the Omni Hypnosis Institute, in De Land, Florida, becoming certified as a clinical hypnotherapist. Returning to Trinidad in 2004 I, had the opportunity to practice hypnotherapy in more general areas than the mainstream emphasis known to me in the United States. I spent a considerable amount of time primarily at the San Fernando General Hospital and at other local clinics and hospitals over a nine-and-a-half-year period interviewing patients and researching the relationship between their prior thoughts and their current illnesses. This experience expanded my own perception and skills as a hypnotherapist, tenfold. This book, as well as my two other books A Collection of Metaphysical Experiences and Reinventing Poetry: The Final Edition, are interrelated and collectively bring light, healing, balance, goodwill to all my readers. I submit this book as a contributor to the manifestation of a new thought process, which I firmly believe in the long term will assist in bringing about greater individual self-awareness, inner peace, self-confidence, social stability, and world peace. I will not hesitate to recommend to anyone seeking real and advance training as a clinical hypnotherapist or attempting to understand any aspect of hypnosis to immediately seek out Dr. Gerald F. Kein at the Omni Hypnosis Institute. It is my personal desire to pursue more advanced training under the stewardship of Jerry in the foreseeable future. Utilizing hypnotherapy to assist in improving the quality of a human life and witnessing and participating in the desired transformation and the attainment of a meaningful objective by an individual has always been and still is one of my life's greatest inspirations.
