Writing is the perfect medium for sharing stories that are harder to tell through the spoken word and this was especially true for Emily when she was lost in the messy middle of a health crisis where she couldn't make sense of how she had even fallen into the chaotic storm or if an exit existed. She shares her path to healing, the overwhelming symptoms, experiences with doctors of western and alternative approaches, her holistic toolkit, a healing diet, climbing her way out of vestibular migraine attacks, and what it took to keep pushing through the darkness to find a grounded state. She made the decision to share her story to divulge everything that once felt broken and to create a path for others who are battling a vestibular something. Emily desperately wanted someone who had been in her shoes (or even a similar pair) to tell her that they had made it through.
