But after all his hard work to get where he thought he wanted to be in life, something happened along the way. Earlier thoughts of becoming an Eastern Orthodox priest had resurfaced and he decided that all the things he worked so hard to achieve no longer held precedent. Subsequently, he found himself thinking in two different and conflicting worlds. One harbored a sophisticated identity and carefree lifestyle and the other portrayed a life as a humbled servant. Frustrated with one and unsure of the other, the proverbial fork in the road became his nemesis. What it took to conquer this and other adversities is what this story is about.
