While no one knows the day and the hour, the season can be known through the linear events listed that are being fulfilled, leading into the tribulation. On this side of the Tribulation and during the Tribulation, there is one requirement outside of knowing Christ: to endure to the end. "The one who endures until the end shall be saved." (Matt. 10:22, 24:13) "Here calls for the endurance of the saints." (Rev. 13:10, 14:12, cf. 1:9, 2:10, 3:10, 12:17) The same message was given to each of the seven churches addressed in the book of Revelation (Rev. 2-3). Those (only those, those alone) who endure to the end reap the reward. On every occasion, the reward conveys eternal life. (Rev. 2:7, 10-11, 17, 26-28, 3:5, 12, 20-21) The message is, therefore, endure (Matt. 24:13), either this side of the tribulation that you will avoid the hour of trouble (Rev. 3:10) or if not, then on the other side that you will avoid falling short at the final judgement (Matt. 25:31-46).
