Bulgaria needs decades to become a pluralist state, because it will take time to have new generations who will not be educated with nationalist literature full of Turkish hatred. After the fall of the Soviet Union Bulgaria turned to democracy, but nationalism has remained as it was before. The constitution is complexly designed regarding Turkish minority values.
