The existing routing protocols like DSR, DSDV, and AODV are prone to node mobility (Movement of nodes). So, an efficient Position-based Opportunistic Routing (POR) protocol is proposed. The POR is the method that proposes the concept of opportunistic Routing and Packet forwarding which is to find the location of node. The backup of data in forwarding candidate nodes reduces the time delay and backup relay caused by local reroute. To increase the level of security we also encrypt the data, before transmission. For encryption of data we use RC4 algorithm which converts original text into cipher text. Using RC4 algorithm encryption time is reduced and it also fastest algorithm compared to other algorithms.
