The present volume is the fruits of the MA project at the School of Foreign Studies of Yangtze University with special regard to translation. It contains five theses which deal with five topics in Translation Studies, including norms theory and literary translation, poetry translation with reference to domesticating and foreignizing strategies, ideology and translation, eco-translatology and translation of public signs, as well as translators' motives.

Autor

Dr. Chuanmao Tian is Professor of English at Yangtze University located in Hubei, China and Director of the Centre for Translation Studies of the university. He has published dozens of articles on translation and intercultural studies in Babel, LANS-TTS, Perspectives, Across Languages and Cultures, and so on.
