The genesis of this work was during her undergraduate studies in Tourism at UFPA (2002/2006), when the author worked as a scholarship holder on a project coordinated by Prof Dr Silvia Helena Cruz, in the artisanal fishing community of Vila do Pesqueiro Soure/ Marajó, and based on her experiences in this community, the author became interested in the line of research into culture, intangible heritage and traditional populations.
