It was in aiding her, he lost some time to get to the fort, but found out some facts that led him to believe the Sioux were being falsely accused. After following his instincts, he finds the men at the fort, including old friend, Captain Stiles, was involved in this charade to discredit the Sioux to get rich. Follow the young man as he fights the wrongs done to both sides And succeeds in getting a treaty both can agree on and yes go back to the pretty young girl who's magic touched his soul.
