Autor

A recovered patient herself, Catherine M. Simone is the author of three books about Interstitial Cystitis (IC) - To Wake In Tears, Along the Healing Path, and Awakening Through the Tears. Diagnosed at 30 with a severe case, she rejected mainstream medical's notion that there was no cure and proceeded down an alternative healing path. She quickly became co-leader of an online IC support group and began her career of helping people to heal. Since 1995, she has spoken to thousands of patients from around the world offering guidance in the area of alternative medicine for IC and its related conditions. Still healed from IC over twenty years later, Catherine released a revised and expanded edition of her best selling Along the Healing Path in 2021. This 20th anniversary edition reflects an even deeper understanding of the causes and connections between the bladder symptoms and the rest of the body. Utilizing further research, unexpected personal experiences, and decades helping patients, she is back with more helpful information on overcoming IC using a holistic approach.
