A life threatening, under diagnosed disease COPD, is also known as smoker's cough. The COPD is predicted to be the third furthermost important reason of mortality by World Health Organisation, by 2030. WHO knows that COPD carries much value in matters of public health. Smoking is a major risk factor and smoking is known to have hyperlipidemic effects. Oxidative stress is implicated in COPD which initiate inflammatory responses in the lungs. Effects other than pulmonary effects include weight loss and skeletal muscle dysfunction.
