Johannes Fabian is professor emeritus of cultural anthropology at the University of Amsterdam. Matti Bunzl is professor of anthropology and history at the University of Illinois at UrbanäChampaign and the author of Anti-Semitism and Islamophobia: Hatreds Old and New in Europe.
