In this swing, the prostitute emerges sharpening the social imaginary, especially the one created by the biopower, which relegated to this woman a place of moral decay, of degradation, creating polarized visions of her image: sometimes the victim, sometimes the fatal woman. When reading the narratives produced by sex professionals, however, one realizes that, beyond the dichotomy, there is a plurality of nuances of their occupation which tensions the interdict of sexuality.
