Visual analogue scale is a scale which measures pain subjectively. In this, the patient is given a 10 point scale on which they have to mark their pain as mild, moderate or severe. Researchers have evaluated the inter observer reproducible of the assessment of severity of complaints, grip strength and pressure pain threshold in patient with lateral epicondylitis in primary care and they concluded that inter observer reliability of severity of complaints and grip strength was excellent.
